I grew up in the midlands on a housing estate where kids played out all day (it was the 70’s), health care was going to the Dr’s and mainly antibiotics.

I didn’t even know about complementary medicine until I had such bad morning sickness that the Dr didn’t know what to do. So I first went to see a homeopath on the recommendation of one of my weird friends – I didn’t have anything to loose except money, right?

The morning sickness was debilitating and had just been diagnosed by the doctor as having M.E. The morning after my first visit I woke up with no nausea and vomiting – the first time in 5 and a half months! I continued visiting the homeopath during pregnancy, and used a homeopathic birth kit in both of my home births. Homeopathy also resolved my M.E.

Once my first child was born (she’s 23 now) I started using Homeopathy every time we were ill with guidance from our Homeopath.

When my daughter was about one and a half she had a very bad croup attack and stopped breathing. We obviously called an ambulance,  in those few shocking moments I remembered a remedy my homeopath had given me for anything that happened suddenly (aconite 200c), gave it to her and within seconds she was breathing again.

After this I decided that I wanted to train to be a homeopath so I could enable other people to take responsibility for their own and their family’s health.

Amazingly I’ve been working as a Homeopath now since 2003. I’m fully qualified and insured, having graduated from the Centre for Homeopathic Education after 4 years of training

For me both professionally and personally, Homeopathy has helped me in many ways.

Personally I have experienced many physical, emotional, mental and spiritual challenges during my life, homeopathy has been a constant for me.

For me one of the amazing things about Homeopathy is, I am treated as the unique whole-ass human that I am, rather than the bits that are ‘wrong’ with me.

One of the Joys of my job is I get to know the whole of you and to treat the whole of you – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

Homeopathy is a different way of looking at health, it’s inclusive, gentle, effective, empowering, supportive, and safe. Its great for all ages and stages of life. Mate I wouldn’t be without it. I always say I don’t know how folk cope with life without it!

Homeopathy is part of my self care, maybe give us a call and see if it might be for you too!!
